Not free…Better solution disclosed:

Free version only lets you watch 5 minutes of a video. Otherwise it’s $4.99.

Better idea is to just drag your .mp4 file inside a tab in Chrome and cast that tab. It won’t play all video types, but .mp4 definitely works.
